Someone who chose A Secret Garden as her venue clearly has a thing for florals, and Andrea was a bride who wanted tons of flowers at her wedding. With a love of flowers from an early age, she had fond memories to tell us of helping her grandmother prune her gorgeous rose bushes that we found endearing and just perfect for someone who came to us for floral preservation.
With a love for the smell of fresh flowers, with cala lillies and garden roses being her favorites, she knew she had a basic vision for her bouquet when she planned her wedding day, after over a year of looking at various bouquets on Pinterest. She took those thoughts and images to Oberer's Flowers who created the perfect arrangement for her, and brought Andrea's vision to life. An incredibly unique bouquet, her "something blue" was a handmade ribbon by one of my bridesmaids that held a snapshot of her grandfather, who passed away in 2004.
Here's some of the images from her beautiful wedding day-
I will have many memories of our wonderful day, but I wanted to save our flowers to display in our home for everyone to see. I couldn't stand the thought of them wilting and being thrown in the trash. The flowers are more to me than just flowers. The smell and imagery of when I walked down the aisle. The stems laced with white ribbon hold a handmade ribbon by a dear friend of mine which holds the picture of my grandfather, who has and always will be dear to me. The shadow box also contains Peter's boutonniere that his brothers and our sons helped place on him.
Our team was thrilled to work with such bold and classic tones and textured to create this one-of-a-kind keepsake for the couple. Our associates worked with Andres + Peter to select our decorative embossed Imperial Silver moulding, accented with deep Newport Blue matboard. The piece was further customized with the inclusion of their wedding invitation, and the very personal and treasured ribbon and memorial charm. The groom's bout is also included in the piece, so the end result is a piece of artwork that includes of the most meaningful and personal details of the wedding day.
